From IMTMA

Industries have resumed their operations in a calibrated way, specifically in green zones with around 33% staff and in some cases with more capacity. Companies however need to ensure business continuity without compromising on health and safety of its staff against Covid-19.

While resuming their operations, industries need to focus on getting new orders apart from completing the existing ones. Businesses must expand their horizons through partnerships and joint ventures, and explore new sectors for medium to long term business opportunities and growth. Innovative and aggressive marketing and an open mindset is vital for industries in these times of uncertainties.

Government of India had announced a series of stimulus measures for MSMEs and manufacturing industry must brace up to increase their R&D spend to avail those opportunities.

IMTMA through this e-newsletter is bringing updates on the various stimulus measures/packages announced by the central and state governments which are beneficial to the industry. The newsletter also gives an insight into the general news updates and the best practices adopted by Indian and overseas industries to combat this pandemic.
